Found this yesterday in the St. Cuthbert's [Edinburgh] OPRs. They were amazingly full of information, so I'd offered to do some lookups. There's always bits to stumble across everywhere we look. Here's the entry....Meg Greenwood / Oklahoma USA ======================== 1845 Samuel FORREST, Veterinary Surgeon residing in #5 William Street and Ann CRERAR residing in #3 same street both in this parish, Daughter of the late James CRERAR, Sheep Farmer in Auchnafree in the parish of Monzie have been 3 several times duly and regularly proclaimed in the parish of St. Cuthberts in order to Marriage and no objections offered....[nothing further is given, only the heading of the entry page which says 19 May, 1845]. I understand this can mean the ceremony did not take place in St. Cuthbert's but in another parish].
