    3. Here is the family: I. DONALD CRERAR (bc 1846 - d 1896 St.Clement, Dundee 282-3-156) = Ann MCDONALD (bc 1847) They married 11 August 1865 at King Place, Perth. Donald was the 20-year-old tailor son of Donald Crerar, labourer, deceased, and Jane Crerar (née Crerar). At the time of his wedding he lived at 10 Foundry Lane, Perth). Ann was a 19-year-old factory worker, the daughter of James MacDonald, labourer, and Grace Robertson, of South Street. [SRO 387-138]. In 1891 they lived in St.Clement, Dundee: Donald (45), Ann (44), Annie (18), Jemima (12), Donald (9), William (6), and George (1). In 1901 they lived in St.Clement, Dundee: Ann (54, widow), Jemima (22, a jute factory worker), Donald (19, a worker in a jute factory), William J. (16, a mechanic), and George (11, a student). A. JEMIMA FINDLAY CRERAR (b. 12 Apr 1878 St Peter, Dundee 282-1-330 - d 1954 Dundee West #600) = William MACDOUGALL In 1901 she lived at home and was a jute factory worker. On 9 Oct 1903 she married William at St. Clement, Dundee, Angus [IGI]. F. DONALD CRERAR (bc 1882 - d 23 Feb 1948, 67yrs) In 1901 he lived at home and was a jute factory worker. He is buried Balgay Cemetery. G. WILLIAM JAMES CRERAR (b.1884 St.Clement, Dundee 282-3-427- d August 1953 Dundee) In 1901 he lived at home, and worked as a mechanic. William was a well-known decorator and painter in Dundee, the second-eldest son of Donald Crerar of Dundee. He carried on business at 5 Rosefield Street for over thirty years and retired around 1938. He was active in local societies, serving as organist for the Masonic Lodge No.967. He was also a member of the Royal Engineers (Submarine Miners). At the time of his death he lived at 22 Watson Street. He also lived at 20 Black Street (1910, 1916) and 23 Dundee Street (1926, 1930, 1936, 1941) [obit. 7 Aug 1953 Dundee newspaper] I. GEORGE DALL CRERAR (b.1890 St. Clement, Dundee 282-3-204 -d June 1968, 78 yrs.) = 1. Elizabeth Black STEVENSON (bc 1892 - d 1942 Lochee, Dundee, 50y ISC282/04 0050); 2. Annie Waddell BROOKS (previously Farr) (b.8 Feb. 1893 Dundee, Forfar) George was a butcher, the son of Donald Crerar, tailor, and Ann McDonald. In 1936 and 1941 he worked at William Morrison, and from 1950 worked at 90 Hawkhill. From 1936 to 1970 he lived at 138 Lochee Road, Dundee. George and Elizabeth married 1920 in St. Mary & St. Peter Parish, Dundee [ISC 282/010216] George and Annie married 5 October 1955 [IGI581]. At the time, George was retired and living at 138 Locheeload, Dundee. Annie lived at 31 Reform Street, Dundee. She was the daughter of James Brooks, flax dresser, deceased, and Isabella Reid McLean, and was the widow of a man named Farr [researched by Irene Brown Dupree of Oshawa].
