    3. This came in today and was worthy of passing along because of the mention of a Peter CRERAR. There is no further information on Peter or his family. Meg Greenwood ====================== Info is from the article "Scots to Nova Scotia in 1817- Perhaps On The "William Tell"" by Terrence M Punch, in the Nova Scotia Genealogist volume 3, 1985, Number 2, page 91 and 92. The petition Punch is speaking ofis dated 31 July 1817 and can be found in RG 5, Series GP, Vol 7, No 7, dated 31 July 1817. The petition is from a party of newly landed Scots immigrants seeking relief & assistance from the NS Govt.
