Thanks Evelyn for all of the information you have supplied. It's funny how you know exactly what I am looking into...Anna Bashers and Shippith Derwin from the Catholic baptismal records. Based upon the estimated year of birth for my ancestor Richard Tarvin (b. Abt 1760), Anna would have to be a sister (or at least a relative around the same age) to Zadoc Brashears (married to Susan Vaughn). The names Mary/Maria and Ann/Anna seem to run through Zadoc Brashears family. With regards to Dr. Marion Elisha Tarvin's hand drawn tree, I have found multiple errors. I tend to just use it as a guide. Plus that tree only shows the William II line (brother to my Richard Tarvin listed above). Many people confuse the 2 Elijahs on that tree with the Elijah in my line. Sometimes don't you just wish they could have come up with some unique names for their children...would be less confusing for us. I will let you know if I hear anything about this.
