Amanda, I came up empty on Anna Brashears after searching through a lot of information on the family - actually, I didn't even find anyone in that time frame that might be a good candidate to be the Anna Bashers + Shippith Derwin (as transcribed on the 1798 Catholic Baptisms for Tombigbee, Tensaw and Alabama River Settlements.) I do see on that same transcribed record of baptisms a Ledeck Bashears and Susanna Vaughn, which would be Zadoc Brashears and his wife, Susan Vaughn, as the parents of child Maria Beshears, so it's entirely possible Anna Bashers is a relative. I even looked on Dr. Tarvin's handdrawn tree and just did not find anything on Brashears there, either. Maybe some Brashears researcher will contact you with some information.
