To add to my earlier message-I guess the area is important-since this is the Heart of Creek Country. My greatgrandmother is from Uriah-Semirah Springs-Jeddo area.

I've tried to find her and him in the Federal Census. Tell you what....Google "Monroe County Alabama Census" and begin your search.....and have you searched through Ancestry.com? You have to play with the programs to work figure out how to make them work for you. You can't mess them up and you can always start over again and again.
