Hey, I am new to this web site. I think I am part white - Scottish to be exact - but I can't prove it. The census records only give the race of my Creek ancestors. The others have blank spaces for race. There is a story in my family that my great-grandmother Janie Mae had some Scottish blood. She never would talk about it though. Folks would ask her if she was part Scottish. She would only say, "I don't want to talk about it. The English treated my ancestors like dirt back in Scotland."
