    1. [CREEK-SOUTHEAST] Native grape pie recipe
    2. Scuppernong Pie Recipe 3-4 cups scuppernong native grapes Water 3 T butter 2/3 cup sugar 2 T cornstarch 1 T or more Cinnamon or Apple Pie Spice Pastry for 2-crust pie Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Wash scuppernongs. Use 2 medium-sized enamel sauce pans; squeeze pulp into one and use other for hulls. Cover hulls with water and cook until tender, drain. Cook pulp until soft enough to run through sieve to remove seeds. Add to hulls. Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add scuppernong mixture and dot with butter. Sprinkle with spice as desired.
