    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5R.2ADI/761.1.2.1 Message Board Post: Joyce & Others Everything I've seen suggests that Opothele Yoholo was the son of Alexander Cornells & Big Woman (Creek). http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cmamcrk4/crkfm5.html#anchor1402388 Some research suggests that Joe or Washington CORNELLS m. Kiziah, dau. of Big Warrior (Creek). When Joe died in 1813 she married Kendall LEWIS. Search the above site for more information on Kendall. http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/articles/view/LL/fle44.html Another of Alexander's children, Sukey CORNELLS, is of interest to me as it appears from Dawes Commission records concerning Freedmen citizenship applications my ancestors were slaves owned, at various times, by Sukey, Kendall, and his brother John. And Sukey may have had a daughter that married John SELLS who also was part of their ownership. Any information you may have/or will come across re: wills, bills of sales, deeds of gift, etc. wherein slaves are mentioned; I would appreciate a heads up. Preston
