I have read some of your queries and I am also researching the Mims family. My ggggrandfather was Henry Mims, brother to David Cullen Mims, sons of Needham Mims. There are several other Cullen Mims, so timelines get a little confusing. I have recently found Henry's grave in the Judd Cemetery, Lavaca Co., Texas, there is a D.C. (David Cullen?) Mims listed also. I don't understand what happened yet, but several of the Mims that are listed in this cemetery are not really buried there. Henry's wife, Caroline Grace Mims, definitely did not die then, she returned with the children to Henry's farm in Alabama and married 2 more times.
