    3. I come from a long line of Mims. Most of mine were from Ga. though. I did not know that the Mims were Indian. Can someone give me some info on the Indian Mims families? I have read some of your queries and I am also researching the Mims family. My ggggrandfather was Henry Mims, brother to David Cullen Mims, sons of Needham Mims. > There are several other Cullen Mims, so timelines get a little confusing. I have recently found Henry's grave in the Judd Cemetery, Lavaca Co., Texas, there is a D.C. (David Cullen?) Mims listed also. I don't understand what happened yet, but several of the Mims that are listed in this cemetery are not really buried there. Henry's wife, Caroline Grace Mims, definitely did not die then, she returned with the children to Henry's farm in Alabama and married 2 more times. > > > ==== CREEK-SOUTHEAST Mailing List ==== > Visit Creek Indian History: http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/tribes/creek/creekhist.htm > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
