I have a Mary Holloway ...61 ...aunt , living in the home of my grt-grt- granpa...Thomas H. Roberts, in 1880...Crenshaw Co., AL. No-one knows who ' Aunt Mary ' is. When that comes up .....it's your choice , from there on. We were looking for Mickleberry Holloway , who lived next to a William Roberts in So. Carolina ,trying to find ' Aunt Mary '. My Roberts' ended up in Covington, Coffee, Geneva Counties. Then on to Pike and Crenshaw after 1870. There are several Holloways listed in Crenshaw and Pike Counties of Alabama, near my Roberts' I found this in "Alabama marriages , 1800-1920 ": Lavis Holloway married a Mary E. Cain, Dec. 19, 1877 in Coffee County , Al. This COULD be my elusive ' Aunt Mary ', since some of the Cains in that area were related to my Roberts', thru the Garrisons . I hope I haven' t confused you too badly.. Good luck. I hope you can find something in that site.
