I am looking for the surnames Minex, Minac, and or Minnex. It is said my gg grand father was a Chief by the name of Sambo Minex/Minac/Minnex and lived in and around Hale, Perry, Greene and Marengo County Alabama. His wife name was Betsy/Bessie. Some of his children name were Belle who married Joe Shade, Polly who was married to Henderson Butcher, Sylvia who married to Dumas Curtis, and Emma Jane who was married to a Williams. Any info will be highly appreciated.
Could surname possibly be "Moniac"? If so, there are lots of kinfolks on this list!
