I might also add on the "Old Ned" information that the Sizemore ECA's that fell into the "Creek Claimants" group were asked specifically if they were related to or knew anything at all about Old Ned and they replied they had never heard of him. They claimed their Creek ancestry from Arthur Sizemore, Weatherfords, Stiggins, Moniacs, Powells, Tarvins and every other Creek Indian in south Alabama, but none ever mentioned the Sizemores named in the Cherokee applications. I just cannot for the life of me understand why some keep joining the Creek Sizemores in south Alabama to the Cherokees.
