    3. Oh gee! Look what happens when I'm not online for a few weeks!! I am SO excited!!! Thank you so very much for posting this. I will definitely be ordering a copy of this book because my Moniacs are listed prominently. Chapter 9 is devoted to Magnaque & Manac (Moniac) and Chapter 16 is about David Moniac!!! And from what I can tell from looking so far, the book should teach me a lot. Thanks much to the authors (wish I could give them both a big hug)! My 4th great-grandmother was Nahoga Moniac (daughter of William Dixon Moniac & Polly Colbert) who married Jack Ward. David Moniac was her nephew. I have his military records from West Point (ordered them years ago) Can't wait to get my hands on this book!! Would love to be in contact with other descendants of William Dixon Moniac.
