They were Muscogee; according to family history they were born and lived in Alabama, removed prior to forced emigration. In Creek Nation West, they settled in Concharty town (northeast of Okmulgee, OK, no longer in existance), so I am guessing they lived in Conchardee town in what is now Talladega County, AL (?) prior to removal, although this is purely a guess. They were both at least 1/2 blood, but not sure what their other heritage was. I have good information after removal, but nothing prior. They had 12 children -- names include Daniel, Annie, Austin, Liza, Lizzie, William, Solomon, Betsy, not sure if any were born before emigration. All of these people and/or their descendants may be found on the Dawes rolls, with reference to George and Nancy. George is not shown on the 1832 Creek census, although he may have been counted under Daniel Bruner -- the two were connected, I'm not sure exactly how yet. He is shown on the 1860 Arkansas slave census as a slaveowner in the Nation. He is referenced elsewhere as head of Concharty town and Second Chief of the Nation, which is shown on his tombstone. Any thoughts or guidance on how or where to try to find information prior to emigration west would be greatly appreciated.
