There are 3 sets of Carnley's that I know about !. Crenshaw County, AL. 2. Secambia County, Ala 3. Coffee County, Al. Then there was a group that was located for a while around Laurel Hill, Fl. The group that was in Laurel Hill, Fl. went back to the Bullock County, Lee County areas in Alabama. The Carnleys that was in Coffe and Crenshaw came from Ga. around the Flint River area in the early 1800's and late 1700's. Some went to Tallapoosa and Clay counties, while the rest went further south. The Crenshaw Carnleys settled around Brantley, Dozier, Burntout Community, Coffee County Carnleys settled around Ino, Kinston and Elba. Some of the related families to the Carnleys are Maddox, Barlow, Kings, Wilders. I hope this is helpful.
