Have looked for this family for years; family history claimed Priscilla Cobb b. 1853 Baldwin Co. Al. was Creek. Father James H. Cobb, mother Elizabeth Ray/Rea b. AL. This family lived on or near Yellow River. Recently was told Cobb & Ray were Cherokee from Carolinas, before coming to AL. Can anyone tell me anything about these surnames. Regards, S.
