A little in sight to the Glisson's, they were native indians who took the name Glisson. During the Trail of Tears, they migrated south to Alabama and Florida instead of Oklahoma. They split off from the tribe even split again from those known as Seminoles. I have done alot of research and have tracke my ancestors. Granted alot of this is speaking to many Glisson's but alot of Glisson's are members of the Musckogee tribe in North Florida. If you have any info or questions email me at lktglisson@comcast.net.
