I must have missed any but today's, message about hair. My grandmother was snow white before she was 30. She was: b. 1894 in that part of Jackson Co. Florida that became Washington Co. She was: Mamie Elzora Reynolds m. Charlie Middleton Sowell b. 1890 AL. Her mother, Martha Annis(Annie) Kelly m. John M.M. Reynolds. This Kelly family was said to be; "Black Dutch" or "Black Irish", depending on who was telling the story. Annie's parents were: Gabriel Thomas Kelly & Nancy Deen(from the Drury Deen family) Gabriel Kelly's mother was Sara Lee, do Tobias Lee. One researcher told me there were numerous Kellies among the Eastern Cherokee. There is an old picture labeled, "Ma Kelly, a Choctaw woman. But, I think that has been added at a later date.
