My grandfather was Griffin Taylor (b. 1894; m. 1918; d. 1986), son of William Griffin Taylor (b. 1856; d. 1933) and Mary Elizabeth Pelt (Van Pelt) (b. 1856; d. 1922). Mary Elizabeth was daughter of William Seaborn Pelt (Van Pelt) (b. 1827; m. 1851; d. 1888) and Elizabeth Pippin (b. 1829; d. 1910). Elizabeth was daugher was Solomon Pippin (b. 1803), but I do not have any additional information. Do you have any, or have information on the Indian heritage?
