I have been reading a couple of books having to do with the region of north western Virginia, which I call West Virginia from here on out, that Chief Logan was from. I will try a get together a summary for you or you can look up the references yourself. The books are " Chronicles of Border Warfare" by A. S. Withers and "History of the Early Settlement and Indian Wars of West Virginia" by Willis De Hass. I have an on-line source for purchasing the books that I will send on to you later.
