This whole process is very new to me. I am the great granddaughter of Sarah Anne Victoria Roberts and Joseph Glisson. When researching by surname, I found Obediah Glisson was a "multiple times" Great Grand Father of mine. I would also like to remark about a comment of "a daughter" being of Indian heritage. My family members tell me that my great great grandmother had an affair with an Indian gentleman while married to Robert Roberts, which resulted in my great grandmother Sarah Anne Victoria Roberts. Whom again, was the wife of Joseph Glisson. I have many photos of her and she appears to be very much of indian decent. Stories told by my mother and aunt support that information along with other facts that our family can be traced to North Carolina and Georgia. The Glissons did move to Alachua and Putnum County Florida. My mother was born in Palatka. I have many relatives buried in the Decoy Cemetary in Clay County, Florida.
