    3. DNA Hi Great Creek list, Hope someone can share some light on this. ole Bob Is there anyone on this list descended from Sehoy? I'm interested in identifying Native American's using mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) which is passed from a woman to her children. Because everybody gets it from their mother, men have it too but they can't pass it on to their children. Those children always get it from their mother. So that is my problem. I want to find a straight female line going all the way back to a known Creek Indian woman. Does anybody fit that particular genealogy? Sending for Grant Johnston

    3. I am direct line to Sehoy II and III, 6th & 5th great grandmother, respectively, to me. I am not familiar with DNA familial testing for women though, only male descendants... ----- Original Message ----- From: "myself" <bobandgwen2@comcast.net> To: <CREEK-SOUTHEAST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2003 8:42 PM Subject: [CREEK-SOUTHEAST] Fw: DNA DNA Hi Great Creek list, Hope someone can share some light on this. ole Bob --- Is there anyone on this list descended from Sehoy?
