My maternal GGmother, Priscilla Cobb, was said to be Creek. She was b. 1853 in Baldwin Co. Al. Family lore says she lived on the "Yellow River" when she ran away with my GGfather. Recently, I found that my paternal grandmother, Melinda EllaFair Anderson; also, said to be Creek, was born there as well about same time.
