I don't usually post information to this group; however I watch the posts from time to time. Are you or is anyone, by any chance, related to the Owings and allied families (sometimes spelled as "Owens")? I am told that we are Creek Native American by ancestry and it is somehow it traced back to a connection with Fort Mims, but I am not sure how or why? A second cousin John Major Owings Jr. is affiliated with the Lower Muskogee Creek Indian Tribe in Georgia [Tama Creek Tribal Town] http://www.rose.net/~mvr/. He has told us much about our ancestry. I look forward to your reply ;-) Sincerely, Nicole Lynn Rittenhouse-Owen Nicole L. Owen -Membership Account Manager, E2C Program - nowen@comptia.org CompTIA 1815 S.
