Debra, I found mine in a Genealogy list. Try like you would your other SUR names. My name was new when i found it and no one had heard of him in bibles or churches and no land deeds with his name on it so this got my to thinking that he was indeed a criminal and stayed hid all the years until he was finally caught and shot. Then i sent this to the list hoping others can find some of their hidden names. The best thing i can say to do is, Think of anyway new way to find the roots.
