My grandmother was Susie Norris Taylor, her husband was Elmer Taylor. Elmer was a coal miner near Jasper, Al. It is the Norris name that descends from Chief Logan...There is a Logan's camp on the Black Warrior river.My family owns much of the land in that area and through the years have foun many artifacts.
