Hello, I am a new member and just recently started looking into my family's history on my Dad's side. Any info anyone might have would be appreciated. My great Grandma McDowell's maiden name was Glisson. Her father's name was William Glisson, according to my grandmother. They were from Attapulgus and Cairo GA and they were both buried in the burial grounds/cemetery in Cairo. I have been told that they were Creek but supposedly that we also have Seminole and Crow in the family as well. I am looking for any info I can find that can confirm which nation they were with or came from.
