I am looking for information on the following individuals that lived in Houston Co GA up through 1840: Nancy MATHIS b. 1810 GA (supposed to be Indian) Minerva MATHIS b. abt. 1834, Nancy's daughter (supposed to be Indian) Johnson MATHEWS b. abt. 1810 Cumberland Co NC James MATHEWS possibly Johnson's brother that lived two doors down in Houston County. There is also a connection to the HICKS and POWELL surnames (listed on Dawes app), but don't know how. Thank you Terrie
