Randall I am interested in your Campbells with connections to the Creeks. My ancestor Robert David CAMPBELL married Charity Yohola/Yoholo, a Creek Indian and reported to be either the sister/daughter of Chief Menawa (although I have not been able to establish this connection). I do know that David and Charity's son Asa married Mary Ann "Polly" RYDER who was the granddaughter of Menewa. From what I have found David and his father/brother migrated to Bibb Co (then Cahawba) Alabama from Franklin Co, GA. David's father was Aron/Aaron CAMPBELL. There is record that he was married to Lydia LNU. Aron is believe to be the son of John CAMPBELL and an Unknown WALLING. John is believed to have died in Franklin Co, GA abt 1807. Would be interested in knowing more about your CAMPBELL's to see if they "fit" with my Campbell's in any way.
