Her father was John Kimbro and her mother may have been Rebbeca Ann Branson. Matilda married my greatx2 grand father, James Alexander Morrison (b 1814 Iredell Co., NC). Have always been told that Matilda was Native American. Any confrimation on this would be greatly appreciated!
