    3. Hello! I have a Annie Belle Caldonia Campbell that I am trying to trace the line on. She was born 1888 and died 1970. She married Harley Sanford Phillips in St. Clair Co., AL. Her first child was born 1907. Her parents are William Riley Campbell (1849-1921) and Alice W. Northcutt (b 1867). Siblings are Jack, Sarah Jane, Golden C., Marshall G., William C., Newton H. C., Linnie M., Martha L., Robert C., Goldie, and Maye C. Father of William Riley is supposed to be Dan Campbell. Does this line match up into your lines? Please advise. Thanks! I will go through my research file and see exactly where I have read it. I believe it was in "A Personal Account of the Creek Nation in GA.& AL. The American Old West" Written by General Thomas Woodward. It's old letters published by the Montgomery Mail on his account of the times. It was written in 1859. On our family tree, My G.Grandmother proved our decendecy to Menawa in black and white. In the 1980's our family received a payment from a claim my Great Grandmother Mary Ann Campbell filed in 1968 along with other Creek Indians. I have the orignal letter sent to her from the Buearu of Indian Affairs. Charity and David is tied into our family in the 9th Generation. We have a family tree full of exciting history. The baby was left behind and raised by a white family. Story goes that when she was marrying age, she married the son of her adoptive parents. I have pictures of my great grandmother (Milia Ida Edwards), and her mother (Rhoda Liner Edwards) and her sons and brothers and there is no doubt this is the side of the family that has Native American ancestry. The little information I have, if true, leaves a lot of unanswered questions. This is what I have: Robert (O'Reilly) Reily- Born: in County Cavan, Ireland. Came to America in 1764. Wife: Ann. Received 100 acres land- Bounty given by Act of Gen. Assembly passed 25 July, 1761, in Craven Co., S.C.. Leased land in 1764 to Matthew Neilson in St. Mark's Parish, Craven Co., South Carolina. Died 23 Nov. 1782, Camden District, South Carolina. Father of Samuel Reily (04 Mar. 1767 - 12 May 1822). Looking for any information in Ireland. Family. Name may have been spelled different. But a direct connection. Relatives that may have come to USA using a different name: Parents, brothers, sisters (maybe married), Uncles, etc. O'Reilly- O'Reily- Reilly- Rileigh- etc. Did he come to this country from Ireland or somewhere else? When did he come to USA? Did he land in South Carolina or somewhere else. What was Ann's maiden name? Where was she from? Where did they marry? Did they have more than one child? Location of last residence and is his grave site known? Then there is Samuel--- I have several accounts on him. There does not seem to be much information on the first two generations, of Reilys, in the USA, and no contacts or connection to where they came from. I run in to a dead end everywhere I look. Do you know of any web sites, books or contacts? If you can help please contact me. Thanks, Wain Reily Columbus, Mississippi
