She was born 12Sept1912. http://www.deadfred.com/surnamePersR.php?ID=35788 Arco's Mothers name was Elvira Tobitha (Wright) Knight. Not sure what happend to Arco's Dad. (see more later) Arco Married William George Smith Sr. (Slim) Arco's brother is Loyd Doile Knight, born 18Nov1910 in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. Loyd Married Elizabeth Kindred and had two children, Effie Jo Knight and Doyle Knight. In my Grandmothers photo album, there is a George Knight http://www.deadfred.com/surnamePersR.php?ID=44246 photograph with Arco's wrighting on it that says "George Knight - Dady". My 3rd Cousin, Cathy Tatom sent me a Picture with Elvira Standing next to Grover Cleveland Knight while he is holding a small child that is Loyd Doile Knight. What the Knight male lineage is has yet to be discovered. Grover (or maybe George) disappeared from our family knowledge, and his wife Elvira showed up in the Newton Co, TX 1920 Census as married to William Oscar Pence, with two step children listed, Arco and Loyd. There were two Grover Cleveland Knight's listed in Louisiana on the LDS site, one who was Cherokee Native American list as son of a Robert Knight. Perhaps an adopted son? I'm looking into this as well. 1.) One of nine children of a Presbyterian minister, Cleveland was born in New Jersey in 1837. He was raised in upstate New York. As a lawyer in Buffalo, he became notable for his single-minded concentration upon whatever task faced him. At 44, he emerged into a political prominence that carried him to the White House in three years. Running as a reformer, he was elected Mayor of Buffalo in 1881, and later, Governor of New York. Cleveland won the Presidency with the combined support of Democrats and reform Republicans, the "Mugwumps," who disliked the record of his opponent James G. Blaine of Maine. A bachelor, Cleveland was ill at ease at first with all the comforts of the White House. "I must go to dinner," he wrote a friend, "but I wish it was to eat a pickled herring a Swiss cheese and a chop at Louis' instead of the French stuff I shall find." In June 1886 Cleveland married 21-year-old Frances Folsom; he was the only President married in the White House.

I am looking for families out of Pulaski by the surname of BUTLER who might connect to my family. Not sure if this is a married name or maiden, the first names are Lousia Berthania or vice versa, she was called Lou. also looking for "Mary" who maybe Creek indian, listed B in an ALA census, she came from Houston or Twiggs Co. GA region (in 1840 and 50). Possible came from another location prior, including AL. she was married to Nathaniel HODO who died in 1850 Houston Co. GA. I can not locate any guardian recordson his minor children which seems odd. Mary took the kids out of GA into AL before 1860, joining a married son there. Debbie
