Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/5R.2ADI/500.2 Message Board Post: Hi Lance I wanted to thank you for the records you have online. I was able to locate my Yuchi/Creek ancestors from searching your records. I go through the message boards when I've finished with my own searches and help others to find the right locations for records they need. I referred your site to quite a lot of people whi I read about on the message boards who were doing their family genealogy. I came across your site almost 2 yrs. ago when I typed in Dawes Enrollment cards and I found it to be the best site for locating the dawes enrollment card numbers. Since we can now post attachments to a reply I've been able to include the actual record or picture with my reply for others to use. Keep up the good work. Joan Case has my mothers father, Samuel Wayne Brown on the World Family Tree Project and my cousin in Oklahoma has the Barr-Wadsworth family tree online. As I've been discovering my family records I've been sending them to Joan Case for her world family tree project and to my cousin Bobbie for the maternal side of the family. Because of your site I purchased 22 Dawes Enrollment Records for the Barr-Wadsworth-Brown, etc. families of Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into your site. Annmarie at BlondiNativeAme3@Netscape.net or BlondiNativeAme3@Yahoo.com

MAYBE you can on the Dawes Rolls. Sometimes on the Early Settlers Rolls. I know that it was said that Nancy Hazelwood was part indian. She lived in Hamblen Co.TN Her father was Blaney Hazelwood. He was supposed to be half indian on his mothers side. The Cherokee are more Olive skinned with Black to black/brown hair.
