    2. Which group of Johnson are you looking up. As far as I know the Johnson and Carnley are not related except offsprings marring. My great grandparents on my maternal side was Johnson fom Coffee county my Grandmother married a Johns fom Henery, Barbour Dale County(ies) were these counties connected. They lived in Jqackson County, Fl. for awhile.     2. There was a Carnley that praticed law in Elba, Coffee county, Alabama for years. There was County Judge that was a Carnley in the early years of Coffee County. My children's Great Grandfather on their paternal side of the family, was refered to as Fiddling Will. He lost all of his land in the mid 30's. He also did jail time, no reason was given.     2. There are some Nowling in Geneva County Alabama, that came out of Barbour and russell County in the learly 1800's. Look in your criminal court records, for your Indian hertigage.
