    1. [CREED] CREED DNA
    2. Thanks for sharing that URL . That is good to know. I'm going to check it out. If I learn something new and exciting, I'll post it on the CREED List. On the CREED DNA website, I've added mini-outlines for most of the DNA participants. However, I will be more than happy to add the same info for any of our CREED lines even if there is no one from the line participating in the DNA Project. All I ask is that you send me the info in the format that Family Tree DNA wants us to use. It's very simple to do. Take a look at the mini-pedigree charts so far on the website. No information on living individuals should be included in your mini-outline. Go to the URL below. Then take a look at the Patriarchs and the Results. These two reports are available for the public to see. Everything else about the DNA test results are password protected. The results are about those participating in the CREED DNA Project. As of now, the Patriarchs has info on Creed lines of the participants only. But it will include other line as soon as I get your mini-pedigree to post on that site. _http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/creed/pats_ (http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/creed/pats) Looking forward to receiving your mini pedigree charts. Hopefully, everyone on the CREED list will want to share with other CREED researchers the Creed lines we are researching. Then we will have one place to check to see if others are researching the same lines. If you're interested in participating in the CREED DNA project, you get a better price by joining through the surname group. I would love to see a few more males with the surname CREED participate. Let me hear from you if you're interested. You can send your mini-pedigrees to the Creed List with a copy to me. The more people who see our information, the more opportunity for others to help each other. Nyla CREED DePauk Google now has Google Books in beta. Click here http://books.google.com/ . I don't know if you guys knew that or not. But, it's great for genealogy. Some whole books are on line. Others, just a little snippet where your specific info is mentioned. Then, you can locate the actual book closest to you, if you want to take a look at it in more detail. For instance, I typed in Cornelius Creed (since he's popular now), and got a return of many, many books where he is mentioned. Very interesting stuff. Just a little of what I found. 1888 Cornelius Creed stumbled into a train and was killed in MA 1828 mentioned in the book "The Red Barn" part fiction, part truth by Robert Huish 1886 mentioned in the book "All the Year Round" by Charles Dickens Listed in a directory written in the 1800's as Cornelius Creed, 19 Bridge St., Southampton in the Hotels, Inns & Taverns. The Creeds practically ran Jamica, NY 1686 William Creed - Patent Jamaica, NY I gave just a bit..there are hours of reading here just on Cornelius then, one Creed leads to another Creed. I came across mention of Creed's Hill. There's too much to put here. Don't forget to put your search info in quotes to so you will get exactly what you're searching for like this "Cornelius Creed". I found some lost and unknown info..I"m sure you will too.
