    1. Re: [CREED] CREED Digest, Vol 3, Issue 25
    2. Thank you, Lou and Perry. Genealogy is so much fun. A lady whose maiden name is CREED was doing a search online for Matthews Co VA. One of the "hits" was Matthew CREED. That site took her to my site. She sent me an email. And the pieces of the puzzle started falling into place based on the census records. Perry, best I can tell, she is your 1/2 second cousin once removed. Nyla That is the same info I have. I was glad to learn that Jeffersons middle name was Ward. I had always took for granted it was Wesley, as there was other Wesleys in that line of Creeds. Thanks. Perry ( Great grand son of Jefferson W. Creed and Permelia Crissman ) At 11:07 PM 10/11/2008 +1100, you wrote: >The James A Creed in 1920 Powhatan Co VA seems to be James Albert Creed b 16 >Oct 1871 Surry Co NC, son of Jefferson Ward Creed 1832-c1902, and his second >wife Mary P Marshall.
