Looking for descendants of this couple. I am trying to establish where this marriage might have happened outside of Washington Co. NC/TN. I have found Rudolph on several documents as a witness in Loudon Co. VA. On one of these documents is an Eve Bartles who signs as a witness with Rudolph. There also appears to be a John Bartles/Bertles on a list of tithables ca 1776 in Loudon Co. So, my theory seems to be headed in the right direction. Do any descendants of this couple have more data on them? Thanks. Eleanor
