Where can I find documentation about Otto's arrival in US? What ship did he come to America on & when? What is his pattern of migration (in which years did he live in which states/counties?) More details please as I'd love to know how we got from Krekel to Crecelius -- so in Germany we were known as Krekel -- but when he came to America- he was entered as "Crecelius". I've just never been able to trace an ancestor that far back & was wondering how you can prove it. My daughter does 4-H genealogy and they ask for documentation, so I'm wondering how to go about getting the documentation for her to put in her book.
