We visited Paradise Bottom a few years back and found Ebenezer Bartles' final resting place. He was the first cousin of My great grandfather Samuel McCracken Bottles/Bartles, of Washington Co. TN. I have transcripts of two letters written to Ebenezer from my great grandfathers older brother James L. Bottles/Bartles who at the time of the letters was in the Military Prison camp at Johnson's Island, this near New Sandusky Ohio. In addition I have quite a number of Crecelius letters also. Just letting you know I am here and am of the Bartles line spoken about in your post. Thanks for the post. Gillis Bartles
