Here are some headstones I copied. Samuel B. Husband of Mamie Crecelius b. May 13, 1876, d. Sept. 16, 1902* Mamie was my g mother previously married to Samuels brother Henry. Mayme d. 10 Jan 1934 in Peoria, Peoria, Il and buried in 'Springdale Cemetery, Peoria, Il. Annie wife of Henry Crecelius b. Sept. 13, 1865 d. June 27, 1896 Inscribed: Sleep on dear MOrther sleep, Thy family morns thy loss (couldn't read) and thy silent grave, All covered over with moss. Clarence Crecelius 1884-1967 *This was son of Annie Applegate and Henry Crecelius J.H. husand of Caroline Crecelius b. March 12, 1833 d. March 26, 1896 (Original marker apparently placed at his death.) A large family marker placed at a later date probably upon the death of his mother Caroline reads: Mother-Caroline Crecelius b. July 30, 1831 d. Jan. 11, 1909. Father: John H. Crecelius b. Mar 12, 1834, d. Mar 24, 1896. Note: Different birth years for John. Sarah F. wife of A. Hamilotn-b. Nov 18, 1856, d. Oct 18, 1890 and husband Alexander Hamilton b. Feb 14, 1832, d. Feb 6, 1901 *Sarah was a daughter of John Hines Crecelius and Caroline Noble. Infant daughter of A. (couldn't read)-S.F. Hamilton b&d. Apr. 14, 1890 Viola E. wife of J.T. Crecelius b. Jan 18, 1862 d. Sept. 15, 1892 *Viola was a daughter of John Hines Crecelius and Caroline Noble J.T. Crecelius b. Oct. 14, 1860 *Son of Harrison Crecelius and Nancy Burris Henry Crecelius b. Feb 10, 1797, d. Apr 1, 1885. Inscribed: In Memory of our Father *This is Henry Cline Crecelius, son of John Gotthart Crecelius and Elizabeth Ausmore/Osmore. Our Mother Laura-b. Apr.17, 1807 d. June 1, 1891 *This is Henry's wife.
