Family members (his nephews/nieces) tell me he emigrated in the 1920s and was never heard of in England again. As for where he emigrated to, and when, no-one can recall. :-( One of my aunts (one of the above mentioned nieces) vaguely recalled Australia being a possible destination for her Uncle Johnnie, but I can find no records of him emigrating on any of the passenger lists available on Ancestry, none of him re-entering the UK (for any reason), and none of his death in the UK, under the name of Samuel Creasey. I did find records, however, of a John Creasey on the passenger lists, with a date of birth one year earlier than his actually date of birth. I'm wondering whether this might be him... but I feel it would be wrong to just add this information to his record with nothing to substantiate it. Is there any other place I can look that might hold records for him under either name - Samuel or John? Can anyone please help me out? Suggestions? Pointers? I realise that, if someone changes their name, it can be extremely hard (if not nigh on impossible) to find them, but I'm hoping I've simply missed something, some records, and am living in hope that someone out there will find him for me. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
