    1. [CRAWFORD] Question
    2. Paul Rickert
    3. I see that you have determined that Jeremiah Crawford is the father to Zachariah Crawford (b.1794 Rockingham Co., VA). My wife descends from Zachariah's son Joshua M. (b.1827 in Port Republic, Rockingham, VA). How did you determine Zachariah's parentage? I have been stuck at this point for about 15 years and have made two trips to the Rockingham History Library in Dayton, VA seeking answers to no avail. Please help! Paul

    3. Hi Paul, Sorry but I cannot help as I have neither Jeremiah or Zachariah Crawford in my tree. I descend from a Robert Crawford b 1819 in Scotland/Ireland and I believe he was a son of a James and Elizabeth Crawford. Paul I am a bit like you in the fact that I have been stuck on my Robert Crawford b 1819 for at least 15 years also. Would love to hear from you if you see any connection with my relatives. If you still have a record of Jeremiah or Zachariah Crawford showing in my file could you send me a screen copy as it is not showing on my records and I will need to get it investigated. All the best with your research. 3. Paul, This is not my Crawford line either. If you have not had a DNA done on your line, I suggest you do Ancestry test to find people in your line. Lots of Crawford’s I have realized.
