Story told to researcher in 1982 by my Grandfather, age nearly 90. Father and a son with 2 or 3 sons came through the divide from SC. into TN. and finally settled in Bledsoe Co., TN. ; 2 of the 3 sons names were John and Thomas. >From the childrens names of descendants I believe that the 3rd son was William C. Crawford because all 3 sons of Johnathon Houston Crawford named a son using these 3 names. Timeline for the arrival in Tn. should be about 1800.
