>From the marriage records of Logan Cty KY, 1790 to 1818 Elizabeth CRAWFORD md John Prior 12 Mar 1803 Margaret A. CRAWFORD md John Higgins 5 Dec 1806 Thomas CRAWFORD md Sally Strphenson 28 Mar 1809 John CRAWFORD md Christina Simons 10 Feb 1812 Eleanor CRAWFORD md John Graham 26 Nov 1814 >From these records it appears that there was at least one family of CRAWFORDS in Logan County with marriage age sons and daughters in the early 1800s. (My descent is from Margaret and John Higgins) >From the US Census the only CRAWFORD in Logan or Christian County KY in1810 is the following: Abel CRAWFORD 00101 - 00101 - 00 Logan pg 182. This would have Abel born before 1765 (age 45+) with one male and one female 16 to 26. This could be John md 1812 and Eleanor md 1814. >From the Logan County Tax Lists: 1796 Oct 3 CRAWFORD, James 105 ac 2nd rate land, Logan Cty, 1 white male over 21. 1796 Oct 5 CRAWFORD, Moses 7 horses, 10 cattle, 1 white male over 21 (There is a Moses CRAWFORD in Warren Cty in 1797, Warren created from Logan in 1796) 1801 June 5 CRAWFORD, Abel 100 ac 2nd rate land, M.
