Karen, How lovely to see a Co. Antrim Crawford posting, even if old and likely to be difficult to trace. I was reading all these "who read's...", and concurring with the general sentiment (yes I read, but never get a match), when yours popped up. I had almost hit the delete key when "Antrim" caught my eye. Anyway, I personally am from Co. Antrim N.I., as are all my Crawford ancestors beyond living memory. In my tree I have a William Crawford b.1777, d.1840, m. Ann Gardner. They had the following children: John, Nancy, James, Elizabeth, William (b1810) [all descendents in N.I.], Ann. I can't be 100% sure of my dates as this info came from research by a fairly distant cousin, but I should be able to get closer some day if I ever get time to seriously work this all through (seems like it will never happen!). Anyway, we could have the same William with slightly incorrect dates, or we could have cousins - the latter being very likely as just about every generation of Crawford I know has a William (I have a brother William, my father is William etc. etc.). Anyway, I'll keep your e-mail on file and perhaps log the details into FTW in case we get a link later.
