I too just lurk in the background on this list. But I read every posting hoping to find my elusive ancestors. My grandfather ELMER ELLSWORTH CRAWFORD was the son of STEPHEN ANDREW CRAWFORD. Elmer was born in Iowa, and Stephen died and is buried in Iowa. But Stephen had a foster father by the name of AUSTIN KELLY. I have not been able to find the father of Stephen. If this sounds familiar to anyone please let me know. I what love to hear from you and share the little information that I have. Paulette
