I am seeking any information on Diana FAY b. 1812 possibly in Vermont. It is believed her father was a Caleb FAY a native of Vermont and her grandfather also named Caleb FAY was to have been killed in the Battle of Bunker Hill. The FAY's were to have been a famed English family. Diana FAY married John W. CRAWFORD on 22 Nov 1829 John W. CRAWFORD was born in New York in 1805 and believed to have been of Scottish, and French-Irish descent. He was listed as a farmer in the NY 1850 census. Their children were: 1. Alice Lavina - b 24 Nov 1837- Is said to have been born in Bedmonton, Canada and the family moved to St. Lawwrence Co. (Piersport) NY when she was 5 years of age. 2. Mary -b.1839 3. John- 1841 4.
