Just thought I'd send out a little background in case someone can tie in with this part of the clan: I am Richard John Crawford, Jr. (b. 1952 Bayshore, NY); married (1977) to Carolyn Anne Petrone (b. 1952) I have 3 children Kathryn Ann (b. 1978); John Richard (b. 1982); Paul Stephen (b. 1985) My father is (obviously) Richard John Crawford, Sr. (b. 1924); married Arlene Adele Benarik 3 children: Lorraine (b. 1950); me (see above); Linda (b. 1955) My grandfather is (was) Lester Joseph Crawford (b. 1898, d. 1946) married to Georgiana Noel Morel 12 children: Vivian, Lester, Richard (my father), Robert, Jackie, Florence, George, William, Andrew, Joan, Thomas, Jean My great-grandfather was John Joseph Crawford (b. 1870, d. 1942); married to Mary "Minnie" Neill (b. 1868, Drumey, Ireland) 6 children: Lester, George, Mable, Edna, John, Florence Everyone was born in the US (New York City area) except Mary Neill from Ireland. I can go back 3 more generations with her parents (Patrick Neill and Margaret Milligan), Margaret's parents (William Milligan and Elizabeth Moffat), and Elizabeth's father (Robert Moffat), all from Parish of Donahenry, a few miles from Stewartstown, County Tyrone, Ireland.
